- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪8:55? Screw it, we're closing. Yes, this actually happened, about six months ago or so. Pulled into the parking lot, I know my watch isn't running slow, but there they were, pulling down the metal shutters at 8:55pm. Had to go to Walgreens across the street and have never been back to Rite Aid. I only bring this up now because of Rite Aid's company-wide decision to block Apple Pay and Google Wallet in favor of a much less customer-friendly (not to mention not ready for deployment) payment method called CurrentC. So it is now clear to me that this attitude goes far beyond one lazy employee at one store, and I will not shop at a Rite Aid again unless I have no viable option.July 01, 2017by Kevin Podsiadlik
