- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My husband, Matt, had a micro-discectomy with Dr. Savage, Jr., and we could not be happier with the attention, care, and follow-through we received from him and his team. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up appointment, Dr. Savage and his team were always professional, thorough, and caring. The prep for surgery at Grandview (280) was also very thorough and helped to answer any concerns I had about the surgery itself. The only negative of the whole experience was the lack of professionalism by the 9th floor post-op floor staff at Grandview-they just didn't seem to be on the same page with one another. But outside of the 9th floor experience, we would give an A+ to all other aspects of the experience from beginning to end. The surgery went well, and Matt's recovery has gone well, so we are very pleased with this experience. We will recommend Dr. Savage, Jr., and his team to anyone needing spinal health care.
